The Cook's Nook opened its doors in downtown McPherson, Kansas in 1988, and offered a variety of kitchen gadgets, cookware, dishes, gourmet foods and coffees.

Since then, the store has quadrupled in size and is now known as the largest independently owned kitchen store in Kansas. With every expansion, we have increased our selections and now offer the latest on the market.

We proudly carry Wüsthof knives, the cutlery of choice among many professionals and discriminating amateur chefs. The blade is ground and polished by computer, ensuring perfect tapering from bolster to tip, and the edge is then hand honed for precision slicing. The sturdy feel of this knife is achieved by the weighted bolster, which is considered to be Wüsthof's signature feature.
