Simply Charmed began inside my home in 2001. One of my friends made beaded jewelry and I bought lots of it. I have collected sterling and gemstone jewelry my entire life (ask my parents about the sterling ring I lost in the gift shop in Galveston, or my husband about the lapis earrings I had to have in Santa Fe). When I learned my friend was moving, I pursued picking up her business where she left off.

Simply Charmed grew out of beads in tackle boxes in my kitchen and home parties hosted by friends to a bustling retail boutique in the newly renovated Chestnut Street District of downtown Hays. The "secret" of our growth is simple. We started our business custom making jewelry to the specific requests of customers. We continue to grow our business by listening to our customers.
